Cheetah time
A rare cheetah sighting after a morning of searching.

A chameleon on the night drive.
We found this guy in the same tree the next day.

African Wild Dogs
These rare canids had found a zebra carcass to feast on.

Zebra
Zebra were there this trip in big numbers.

Spotting the pride.
This male lion made an appearance at the water hole we had staked out.

Giraffe
Scratching an itch after a nice long feed.

A mother elephant and her calf.
This mother continued to eat while her calf was smelling the air trying to figure out who or what we were.

lioness
After breeding, the lioness rolls on her back to help improve her success rate.

Male lion
Surveying the territory in the early morning light.

Banded Mongoose
These quick little critters usually roam in large busy groups.

Pale Chanting Goshawk
The birds were well represented this trip. We spotted over 125 different species.

Sunset rollers
The experience at sundown with wildlife and a cocktails was magical.

Leopard in a small tree.
Usually leopards are elusive but on day 4 this female decided she needed a better vantage point to see the opportunities.

Young impala playing.
These impala were practicing their evasion techniques. Practice makes perfect, repetition builds confidence.

African elephant bull
After gently making his way over to the cars, he passed right between our Land Cruisers and down the road.

Sharing space.
Up a little early but rewarded with an amazing sunrise during our walk.

The walking safari.
Truly sharing space with the African wildlife while being guided incredibly well and safely was an unforgettable experience.
